Project Team

The Project Core Team is composed of members of and associated with Sri Aurobindo Society and Auroville. The making of the film has been commissioned to a professional animation studio in Mumbai.

Shivakumar

Shivakumar

Project Lead

Shivakumar has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and spent five years in the private sector, before re-orienting his life towards full-time spiritual pursuit. He has been a part of Sri Aurobindo Society (www.aurosociety.org) at Puducherry since 2001 and has taken up various roles in the organization. Shivakumar is now a Director of Sri Aurobindo Society’s AuroYouth program and a Director of Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Integral Education and Research (SAFIER), the educational wing of the Society.

Manoj

Manoj Pavithran

Film Production Lead

Manoj Pavithran is an educator and film-maker living in Auroville since 1995. He has been following Sri Aurobindo's teachings since 1989 and conducts educational programmes for the youth (https://purnam.auroville.org/). He makes films to share the vision and work of Sri Aurobindo and they can be found here: www.sopanam.org. He is collaborating with Sri Aurobindo Society to make this animation film on Sri Aurobindo.

Archana Udaykumar

Content Research

Archana Udaykumar is a practitioner of the Integral Yoga, currently residing in Hyderabad. She has been associated with the Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry, for more than a decade. She has been a part of a team generating eBooks based on the works of Sri Aurobindo and The Mother. She is also associated with Auroville Campus Initiative (Purnam) since 2018, being part of the Integral Education Portal team and assisting in some of their courses. She aspires to lead a life of beauty, harmony and love through Integral Yoga.

Priti

Art Inputs and Finance

Priti is an integral educator and a parent adopting Integral Education practices for more than a decade. She is a graduate of Commerce and holds a diploma in 'Early Childhood Care and Education'. She explored the world of fine art in diverse ways: exploring furniture design, animation, printmaking, sculpture, painting, drawing and book illustration. Currently Priti resides in Puducherry, India, and works with Sri Aurobindo Society’s Integral Education initiative (SAFIER) as a teacher trainer and research scholar. Living an ‘inside out’ life are her watchwords in life.

Srinivas Mulugu

Script & Animation Review and Marketing

Srinivas Mulugu is Chairman, Sri Aurobindo Society, for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He is also National Director for AuroYouth. In his corporate career, Srinivas worked for twenty years with several MNCs including Nokia Siemens and Cisco Systems. Srinivas has been associated with the Mother and Sri Aurobindo for 35 years.

Rahul Sharma

Website Development and Youth Outreach

Rahul Sharma has around 6 years of experience working as a Computer Science Engineer. He currently lives in Auroville and works at Talam. He has been studying and practising the Integral Yoga of Sri Aurobindo and the Mother since 2011. He has experience volunteering with organizations in the fields of Education, Arts & Culture, Youth and Spirituality.

Ananda

US-Based Outreach

Ananda (Terry Billington) came to the Mother and Sri Aurobindo in 2013. After living at the Sri Aurobindo Sadhana Peetham (SASP) in Lodi, California for two and a half years, he moved to Puducherry. While in Puducherry he was part of the team that launched The Mother’s Guidance website in 2021, rebuilt the Navavihan website, assisted in the management of Mother's House (a guest house in Vaithikuppam) and assisted at Mother’s Garden where the flowers for the samadhi are grown. In September 2021 he returned to SASP in Lodi and was added to the Board of Directors, and now helps to manage the day-to-day operations of SASP and Auromere, Inc. which offers a variety of ayurvedic products. Prior to doing yoga he was Vice-President of Administration with an intermodal drayage company in Southern California.
