Project Team

The Project Core Team is composed of members of and associated with

Sri Aurobindo Society and Auroville. The making of the film has been commissioned to a professional animation studio in Mumbai.

SHIVAKUMAR

Shivakumar has a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and spent five years in the private sector, before re-orienting his life towards full-time spiritual pursuit. He has been a part of Sri Aurobindo Society (www.aurosociety.org) at Puducherry since 2001 and has taken up various roles in the organization. Shivakumar is now a Director of Sri Aurobindo Society’s AuroYouth program and a Director of Sri Aurobindo Foundation for Integral Education and Research, the educational wing of the Society.

DR. ARATI SHARMA

Dr Arati Sharma, Director of the Sri Aurobindo Centre for Homoeopathy (SACH), is a senior Homoeopathic Physician, Researcher and Educator with over 30 years of experience. A former lecturer at S.K.H. Medical College and contributor to journal NAMAH, she is noted for her award-winning Keloid research and editorial contributions in homoeopathy. She integrates science, spirituality, and service in her holistic healing approach. Inspired by Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, she leads interactive sessions on the Five Dreams—the Independence Day message from Sri Aurobindo in 1947, exploring India’s spiritual destiny, Asia’s rise, world unity, and human evolution towards a higher consciousness.

MANOJ PAVITHRAN

Manoj Pavithran is an educator and film-maker living in Auroville since 1995. He has been following Sri Aurobindo's teachings since 1989 and conducts educational programmes for the youth ( Purnam, Auroville). He makes films to share the vision and work of Sri Aurobindo and they can be found at: www.sopanam.org. He is collaborating with Sri Aurobindo Society to make this animation film on Sri Aurobindo.

HEMA BANDI

Hema did her graduation in Visual Communication and has a Branding and Marketing Communications PG certificate from MICA. After briefly working as a educator and a short time working with an NGO, got into illustration and making comics. She also volunteered as an Illustrator at Sanskrit Research Institute, Auroville, in the year 2021. In 2023, she attended the national Youth Camp in Puducherry facilitated by Sri Aurobindo Society's AuroYouth. She Illustrated for integral Education children's school textbooks. She has been learning, both spiritually and professionally, further along the way while working with the Integral Education initiative SAFIER. Sri Aurobindo Society, since Sept. 2023.

Priti

PRITI UMAMAHESVARAM

Priti is an aspiring artist and an integral educator adopting Integral Education practices for more than a decade. She has explored the world of Fine art and Finance in diverse ways: exploring furniture design, animation, printmaking, sculpture, painting, drawing and book illustration, studying chartered accountancy, working with project-finance experts and working in an industry. Currently Priti resides in Puducherry, India, and works with Sri Aurobindo Society’s Integral Education initiative (SAFIER) as a teacher trainer and research scholar. Living an ‘inside out’ life is her watchword in life.
