Today, on the anniversary of Mother's historic final arrival in Pondicherry in 1920, we at the Sri Aurobindo Society remember a pivotal moment that ignited a new chapter in our history.
This marked the beginning of a profound spiritual collaboration between Sri Aurobindo and the Mother, shaping the Ashram – and subsequently, the Sri Aurobindo Society, Auroville and several other organizations –, and guiding its path to work for the transformation of humanity.
About this significant date, the Mother once wrote to a disciple:
"The anniversary of my return to Pondicherry, which was the tangible sign of the sure Victory over the adverse forces."
