On this date, after a journey across continents, the Mother arrived in Pondicherry, never to leave again.

In her own words, “The anniversary of my return to Pondicherry, which was the tangible sign of the sure Victory over the adverse forces.”

What seemed like a physical return was, in truth, the anchoring of a deeper victory. From this moment, the Ashram slowly started taking shape, as a living field of consciousness, growing around Sri Aurobindo and the Mother. 🌿

24 April became more than a date. It became a Darshan Day: a reminder that the work is ongoing, alive, and collective.

SRI AUROBINDO'S ARRIVAL AT PONDICHERRY - 4TH APRIL
On 4th April 1910, Sri Aurobindo arrived in Pondicherry, following a divine aadesh, to enter what he himself called his space of retreat and tapasya: ✨

“Pondicherry is my place of retreat, my cave of tapasya, not of the ascetic kind, but of a brand of my own invention.” Here began an intense inner work as a preparation for a global work–quiet, unseen, yet vast in its scope. 🌍

A work that would open the possibility of a New Consciousness and a new way of being human. 🌅
He did not turn away from life. He envisioned its transformation, where education, politics, art, society, all could be shaped by a higher consciousness 🎨

And he reminded us that this work was not meant for a few individuals, but lived as a *Sangha*, a collective, its power multiplies.🤝
